Jinza Teriyaki
After reading The New Diner's Post on Jinza Teriyaki, I decided to check it out since it was close to school. Crappy picture below taken w/ my phone.
Teriyaki chicken plate for around 5-6 bucks. Grilled and thinly sliced chicken over a large bed of rice served with a big portion of standard iceberg lettuce mixed salad with some sort of house white dressing (which they had in bottles for people to use) and a small side of lightly pickled cabbage.
The chicken was pretty good. My only complaint was that I wish it had been cut into bigger pieces. The sauce had a good ratio to it and wasn't too sweet nor did it overpower the chicken. The rice was cooked with a little too much water imo. Still, I would say one of the better places to get teriyaki compared to the other places I've tried so far.
Service was friendly, and the place seemed to be a Korean family owned joint.
